Tracy Coyne was a two-sport head coach at Roanoke for seven seasons. During her years in Salem, Coyne was 91-21 in women's lacrosse and 55-48-1 in field hockey. In lacrosse Coyne led the Maroons to five ODAC Championships, three undefeated ODAC records and was 45-4 in conference play. Six of her seven seasons were with 11 or more wins including her 18-1 squad that broke records for most wins, longest win streak and best start (16-0) and best record. Coyne led the Maroons to five NCAA Tournament appearances and was the 1992 ODAC, South Region and National Coach of the Year. She was also a three-time ODAC Coach of the Year. Of the five NCAA Tournaments, she led Roanoke to five National Quarterfinals, two of those advanced to the national semifinals. She has coached 23 All-South Region players, four ODAC Players of the Year, 20 first-team All-ODAC selections and 14 first-team All-Americans.
