Roanoke College

One of the great football players ever at Roanoke College, Wroniewicz led the Maroons to a 6-2-1 record in 1936.  That year Wronewicz scored 37 points on four touchdowns, two field goals, and seven PAT. 

He also starred in basketball and baseball in addition to being a member of the Monogram Club.

Wroniewicz earned his master’s degree in education and coached in high schools from 1935-1946 and served as principal in 1947-48.

Wroniewicz was tragically killed in an automobile accident in Oregon in 1949.
