Following her graduation, McLaughlin was the women's soccer team's all-time leading scorer until the 2004 season. McLaughlin racked up 94 points on 41 goals and 12 assists in her time with the Maroons as a forward.  She was a First-Team All-ODAC selection in 1992 and 1993 in addition to earning second-team honors in 1991. McLaughlin helped power the Maroons to four-straight ODAC Championship games - including capturing the 1990 ODAC Title.  She was also an All-State and All-South Region selection as a senior.
