Love anchored a Maroons defense to the 2006 ODAC Championship and NCAA Final Four appearances in 2005 and 2006. Love was a three-time First-Team All-ODAC selection and was named a USILA First-Team All-American in 2005 and 2006 in addition to an Honorable Mention honor in 2004. 

Following his senior season, Love was named the USILA National Defenseman of the Year and was selected to the prestigious USILA North/South All-Star Game. Upon his graduation, his 310 groundballs ranked third most in Roanoke Lacrosse history.
