Roanoke College

President of the Monogram Club, Ruscick was co-captain of State Championship basketball team in 1948 in addition to his first-team All-State honor that season.  He was famous for a driving lay up shot.

Ruscick was instrumental in re-establishing the track and field program at Roanoke with Coach Bast in the late 40's as a star athlete.  He participated in the high jump and broad jump while at Roanoke.

After leaving Roanoke, he served as both a scout and as a recruiter.
