Carmen Graves '13 was a star on both the women's track and field and women's soccer teams during her time at Roanoke. For track, she was a five-time All-American and two-time ODAC Track Athlete of the Year (2012-13). In 2013, she was named All-American by virtue of her placing second in the 800m run (2:10.75) at the NCAA Indoor National Championships. After graduation, Graves competed in the 3000m steeplechase at the US Track and Field Championships in 2013. In soccer, she was a first team VaSID All-State and All-ODAC selection her junior and senior year. She finished her soccer career with 26 goals, 14 assists, with six game-winning goals.
