Roanoke College

A member of the Monogram Club, Foltz distinguished himself in both basketball and track star at Roanoke.

On the basketball court, he played both center and forward and was team captain as a senior.  He was selected First-Team All-Mason Dixon Conference; First-Team All-Little Eight and received honorable mention honors on the All-State Team.  He finished his illustrious basketball career with 1,395 points which was a school-record that stood for 12 years.  He was named All-Tournament in the Mason-Dixon Conference Tournament in 1955.  Foltz helped lead the Maroons to four-straight Little Eight Championships along with the 1953 and 54 Mason-Dixon Championships.

In track, he set records in the high and low hurdles and performed in the field events, running up the highest total points for an individual athlete.
