Roanoke College

Light participated for four years in both indoor and outdoor track while a member of the Monogram Club.

A stellar performer in the 440 yard dash and on the mile relay team, Light's 1956 mile relay team set the Roanoke College and Little Eight Conference record.

Captain of the 1958 track team, Light set the 440 yard record for Roanoke and for the Conference.  Led his team to the win in the prestigious Penn Relays  

After Roanoke College, he continued working in sports, and much of his free time is given to the annual Cosmopolitan Track Meet
