Roanoke College

Played on the first football team to ever have a full schedule.  Captain of the 1905 team his junior year.

Athletic talents were also shared on the baseball diamond where he was a hustling infielder.

The College remembers him most for his 48 years of faithful service as a member of the Board of Trustees.  In 1964, the new dormitory, Bowman Dormitory for Men, was dedicated.
