NEW ORLEANS - The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) has announced its 2025 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field All-Region honorees, and Roanoke had 12 athletes included on the list.
Seven members of the women's team secured All-South Region recognition in four events, while the men's squad was represented by five athletes across four competitions.
For the women,
Ophelia Ladner was selected in the 400m hurdles, while
Olivia Viers garnered the accolade in the 100m hurdles. Both Roanoke relay teams also earned All-Region honors, with the 4x100 squad of
Nalonda Henderson,
Eleanor Hinckley,
Mae Kaufman and
Lindsey Hobin recognized alongside the 4x400 quartet of Kaufman, Ladner, Hobin and
Maryrose Molina-Shuman.
Brady Fowler highlighted the All-Region performers on the men's side by securing honors in three separate events, including an individual nod in both the 100m and 200m.
Amari Carter joined him in the 100m, and the 4x100 relay team of Carter, Fowler,
Drew Bitzer and
Bryson Hill was also recognized.
Jim Sarsfield rounded out the Maroons' honors with an All-Region designation in the hammer throw.
The top five individuals in each event from each region on the year-end Descending Order Lists all earn All-Region distinction, in addition to each member of the region's top three relay teams.
Fowler (100m and 200m), Carter (100m), Ladner (400m hurdles) and the men's 4x100 relay team will all be in action at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships in Geneva, Ohio this weekend.
