The Lead: Amari Carter and
Brady Fowler secured All-America status in the 100m dash at the Division III national championship meet in Ohio.
Meet Highlights:
- Racing in the same heat in the preliminary rounds, Carter and Fowler finished back-to-back with times of 10.68 and 10.69 seconds. They placed third and fourth in their heat, and their times were good for 15th and 16th overall in the prelims.
- Those finishes earned Second Team All-America honors for both Maroons.
- Sam Blaskowski of Wisconsin-La Crosse placed first in the prelims with a time of 10.28 seconds. The top nine runners from the three preliminary heats all advanced to Saturday's championship race.
