HARRISONBURG, Va. – The Roanoke men's track & field team won four events and racked up nine total all-conference citations on the second day of the conference meet, securing their best finish at the ODAC outdoor championship since 1987.

Notes and Notables
- Roanoke totaled 137 points, finishing well clear of third-place Washington and Lee (105 points). Lynchburg won the team title with 249 points.
- Lorenzo Camobreco was part of two event victories. He took the individual title in the 400m with a meet and personal-record time of 47.14 seconds, which vaulted him up to ninth in Division III this season. Max Cardwell also clocked a PR time, crossing the line in 47.81 to place third and snag All-ODAC laurels.
- One day after setting a meet and program record in the 400m hurdles with a time of 52.95 seconds in the prelims – currently good for 15th in the country – DeShawn Austin claimed first place in the finals with a mark of 53.40 seconds. Mitchell Taylor's personal-best time of 54.51 seconds was good for fourth place.
- Elias Ammon took first in the 800m, registering a time of 1:53.15.
- Cardwell, Austin and Camobreco teamed up with Brandon Heffinger to win the 4x400 relay, clocking in at 3:17.91.
- Amari Carter recorded a pair of runner-up performances and all-conference citations. He placed second in the 100m with a time of 10.65 seconds.
- Carter also came in second in the 200m with a season-best run of 21.54 seconds. Bryson Hill scored for the Maroons in the event, logging a PR time of 22.14 seconds to finish seventh.
- Taylor was the second-place performer in the 110m hurdles, garnering All-ODAC laurels with a time of 15.27 seconds.
- Roanoke's 4x100 relay turned in an all-conference race, as Cardwell, Hill, Carter and Sam Linebaugh placed third with a season-best mark of 41.70 seconds.
- Three Maroons scored in the 1,500m: Nathaniel Orban placed fifth with a time of 3:58.24, while Shane Stevens (3:59.80) finished seventh and Ammon (3:59.91) came in eighth.
- Stevens (15:17.30) and Parker Blosser (15:18.63) finished back-to-back in sixth and seventh place in the 5,000m, earning more points for their team.
- Dominic McCombs scored in the pole vault, placing sixth overall with a jump of 4.25m.
- George Davis rounded out the Saturday scorers, logging a PR toss of 41.53m to place eighth in the javelin.
- All-ODAC performers from Friday's action included DeShawn Austin in the long jump, Jackson Coombes and Gabe Ramirez in the 3,000m steeplechase, and Kyle Stephens in the shot put.
- The Maroons matched their highest-ever finish at the ODAC outdoor event. The 1983 squad placed second outright, while Roanoke tied for second with Bridgewater back in 1987.
- In addition to Austin's 400m hurdles time, several other Maroons either bettered their previous marks or joined the career Top 10: Camobreco (second in 400m), Orban (second in 1,500m), Taylor (third in 400m hurdles), Coombes (fifth in 3,000m steeplechase), Dylan Knick (sixth all-time in 400m hurdles, 10th in ODAC prelims), the 4x100 relay (sixth), Hill (seventh in 200m), Ramirez (seventh in 3,000m steeplechase), Stevens (seventh in 5,000m), Gregory Stiltner (eighth all-time in discus, ninth at ODAC meet) and Blosser (ninth in 5,000m) all placed their names on the Roanoke leaderboard.
Up Next: The Maroons will compete in last chance and twilight meets in early May, with the NCAA Division III Outdoor Championships slated for May 21-23.
