Notes and Notables

• Austin logged a time of 56.03 seconds in the 400m hurdles, placing third in the event. His ODAC championship meet record time of 52.95 has him ranked 27th in Division III.
• Austin also came in fifth in the long jump with a distance of 6.74m. He set the school record with a leap of 7.23m earlier in the season, which ranked 25th in the country as of Thursday evening.
• Cardwell placed fourth in the 400m with a time of 49.55 seconds, coming up just short of the personal record (47.81) that he set at the conference outdoor championships back in April.

Up Next: Selections for the NCAA Division III outdoor track & field championships will be announced on Friday. Nationals will take place in La Crosse, Wisc. from May 21-23.
