Notes and Notables
- Austin set an ODAC championship meet record in the preliminary rounds of the 400m hurdles, leading all competitors with a time of 52.95 seconds.
- Austin also finished as the runner-up in the long jump, garnering all-conference laurels with a mark of 7.18m.
- In the 3,000m steeplechase, Jackson Coombes (9:59.06) and Gabe Ramirez (10:02.58) set personal records to place second and third overall. Both Maroons captured All-ODAC honors.
- Kyle Stephens earned an all-conference nod in the shot put, placing third with a mark of 14.25m.
- Parker Blosser finished fifth in the 10,000m, clocking in at 33:04.54.
- T.K. Toney and Cody Roupe rounded out the scoring with season-best performances in the high jump. Toney placed fifth and Roupe finished seventh as both athletes cleared 1.92m.
- Mitchell Taylor joined Austin in advancing to Saturday's 400m hurdles finals. Taylor's personal-record time of 55.50 seconds was good for seventh in the prelims.
- In the prelims of the 400m, Max Cardwell (48.63 seconds) and Lorenzo Camobreco (48.93) came in second and third to move on to the finals on Saturday.
- Amari Carter finished second in the prelims of the 100m with a season-best time of 10.63 seconds.
- Carter also advanced in the 200m, placing third in the prelims with a season-best run of 21.81 seconds. Bryson Hill will join him in the finals after finishing seventh in the prelims with a season-best time of 22.36 seconds.
- Taylor also qualified for the finals in the 110m hurdles, coming in fourth in the prelims with a mark of 15.21 seconds.
- The Maroons currently occupy the No. 3 spot in the team table after posting 38 points on day one. Lynchburg sits in first place with 86 points, followed by Bridgewater in second with 43 markers. Six events were completed on Friday, with 14 more slated for scoring on Saturday.
