Event: NCAA Division III Outdoor Championships

The Lead: The Roanoke men's track & field team competed in the preliminary rounds of two events at the national championship meet in Geneva, Ohio.
Highlights:
- Brady Fowler logged a time of 21.63 seconds in the prelims of the 200m. He finished eighth in his heat and 18th overall. The top nine finishers in the 22-runner field advanced to the finals on Saturday afternoon.
- The 4x100 relay team of Fowler, Amari Carter, Drew Bitzer and Bryson Hill was disqualified due to a zone violation in the prelims of the event. The top nine relay squads moved on to the championship race, also slated for Saturday.
- Wisconsin-La Crosse boasted the top finishers in both races. Sam Blaskowski posted a prelim time of 20.56 seconds in the 200m, and he was part of the 4x100 relay squad that produced a meet record time of 39.77 seconds.
Up Next: Carter and Fowler will both run in the prelims of the 100m dash on Friday, with action slated for 3:30 p.m.
