SALEM, Va. – As an impending major winter storm threatens the area this weekend, several Roanoke College athletic events have been altered.

The men's basketball home game slated for Saturday against Bridgewater College has been moved up to Friday at 6 p.m.  The Maroon women's basketball team's trip to Randolph-Macon College Saturday has also been moved up a day, and the two teams will now compete on Friday at 5 p.m.

The wrestling team's trip to the Appalachian State Open Saturday has been canceled. The indoor track & field team's two-day meet at Liberty University has been consolidated to one day, with competition only on Friday.
