Jackson Bell set career highs of 31 points and 15 rebounds Wednesday as the No. 22-ranked Roanoke College basketball team defeated the University of Lynchburg 92-68 in an Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) game.
The first half ended tied 40-all, and Bell netted 25 of his 31 points after intermission as the Maroons outscored the Hornets 52-28 in the second half.
How it happened:
*The score was tied 45-45 at the 16:56 mark and RC used a 22-5 run to pull away 67-50.
Inside the numbers:
*Bell drilled 8-of-11 three-pointers and 9-of-15 overall. All 15 of his rebounds were on the defensive side of the court.
