FOREST, Va. – Roanoke College had five players honored Thursday with the release of the 2026 All-Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Softball team, nominated and voted on by the ODAC coaches.
Junior outfielder
Carsyn Michaels earned a spot on the first team after hitting .408. She had 18 RBI and nine doubles on the season.
Heather McQueeney nabbed a spot on the second team. The junior outfielder led the team with a .411 batting average, 35 runs scored and 33 stolen bases - third in the conference.
Baylee Compton,
Charlotte Gale and
Haleigh Vaughan all took home third-team accolades. Compton, a junior pitcher, had a 2.02 ERA with a 9-7 record and 81 strikeouts. Gale, a freshman, boasted a .391 batting average, a .500 on base percentage and a .511 slugging percentage. Vaughan, a junior third baseman, hit .318 with 15 RBI and 14 runs scored.
The Maroons finished the season 22-20 and knocked the University of Lynchburg and Guilford College out of the conference tournament last weekend.
