SALEM, Va. – Five Roanoke College student-athletes were honored Tuesday with the release of the 2026 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Softball Team.


Juniors Heather McQueeney, Baylee Compton, Haleigh Vaughan, Carsyn Michaels and Grace Clary each earned spots on the All-District Team.
McQueeney is a health and exercise science major from Columbia, Md. Compton, from Roanoke, is a business administration major. Vaughan, an education major, is from Vinton, Va. Michaels, from Roanoke, is a business administration major and Clary, from Woodbridge, Va., majors in Education.

The 2026 Academic All-District® Softball teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the diamond and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes softball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
