FOREST, VA. – Roanoke College had three students honored Monday with the release of the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Athletes of the Week for the week of February 9.  

Roanoke College's Jude Robson and Hunter Moore were named the conference Lighter Weight and Heavier Weight Wrestlers of the Week, respectively. Jackson Bell earned the Men's Basketball Defensive Player of the Week.

Robson and Moore were instrumental in Maroon dual meet victories over Washington & Lee University (30-7) Friday and Averett University (45-0) Saturday to capture the program's fourth-straight ODAC title.  

Robson, a senior from Staunton, Va., won both of his matches last week at 133 pounds, one by technical fall. He bested W&L's Vincent Ziccardi by an 8-2 decision Friday and followed up with a 19-4 technical fall win over AJ Orlando of Averett Saturday.

Moore, a junior from Boulder City, Nev., also won both of his matches last week, earning extra points in each at 184. He beat Evan Surmay from W&L by technical fall Friday and pinned Khalil Mitchell of Averett in 4:11 on Saturday.

Bell, a junior guard from Roswell, Ga., helped the No. 17 ranked Maroon men's basketball team allow just 56.5 points a game in two ODAC contests last week. He had eight steals overall in the two games against Washington & Lee University and Eastern Mennonite University and added 15 rebounds (11 defensive). Bell scored 35 points overall, including 23 against EMU.
