The Short story: The No. 17-ranked Roanoke College men's basketball team fell Wednesday 64-56 at Washington & Lee University in an Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) contest.
The loss snaps a six-game Maroon winning streak, all in conference play.
How it happened:
*The Generals opened a 37-28 lead at the 2:33 mark of the first half after a 7-0 run and led 38-30 at halftime.
*Roanoke trailed by as many as 17 points in the second half but fought back to within six (54-48) with 5:52 left in the game but could get no closer.
*The Generals forced Roanoke into just 3-of-28 shooting from three-point range (10.7%).

Jackson Bell scored a team-high 12 points for Roanoke with seven rebounds and three steals.
