SALEM, Va. - The Roanoke College women's cross country team took 10th overall at the Roanoke XC Invitational 2025 South Region Showdown on Saturday.

Notes and Notables 

• Maya Herndon was the lead Maroon on the day, placing 31st at 23:42.3. She was in the top 10 of ODAC finishers in the race. 

• Allie Gallaher was the next best finisher as she clocked in at 24:53.5. 

• Evelyn Magee wasn't too far behind as she took 81st with a time of 25:19.3. 

• Lauren Murray and Sarah Kochanski were right behind each other as they placed 111th and 113th respectively. They finished with times of 26:17.7 and 26:22.0. 

• Sadie Teer and Ella Speece topped off Roanoke's scoring seven with back-to-back finishes at 132nd and 133rd. They ran times of 27:26.4 and 27:27.0. 

• The women averaged a team time of 25:18. 

Up Next 
This marks the end of the regular season for Roanoke. They will start the postseason on Nov. 1 when they travel to Bridgewater for the ODAC Championships.
