Greatest Personal Sports Moment: I do not have a favorite personal sports moment but the highlight of my eight years of running has to be all of the little things my high school cross country team did together. We became a family in a sense and the way we all looked after each other - win or lose - says a lot about this support and the community it has become over time.
Why did you choose Roanoke?: I chose Roanoke because I wanted to go to school further South from where I currently live and knew that being in a larger area like Roanoke would allow me to have more opportunities as well. The main reason I chose this school was because when I visited, I felt so welcomed by the few runners on the team that I got to meet. I knew that those on the team and Coach Workman were no doubt the people I could envision surrounding myself with.
What do you want to do after Roanoke?: After graduating from Roanoke, I plan to attend graduate school to earn either my Master's Degree or my Doctorate in Occupational Therapy. After that I would love to move somewhere out West.
