Earlysville, Va. - Roanoke's women's cross-country team finished 7th at the D3 South Regional Preview Saturday.

Notes and Notables  

• Roanoke took five of the top 50 runners to finish 7th with a score of 166 points.  

• All seven racers finished in the top 65 spots out of 128 runners.  

• Maya Herndon led the way for the Maroons, finishing 16th with a 24:10.8 time.  

• Riley Larimer, Sofia Conrey, Brooke Eichelberger, and Sadie Teer rounded out the scoring for the Roanoke. Larimer placed 23rd at 24:52.2, Conrey placed 34th at 25:41.4, Eichelberger placed 48th at 26:34.0, and Teer finished 50th at 26:45.9.  

• Lauren Murray (27:50.6) and Lucy Whitenack (28:24.6) were RC's other two racers.  

• RC had the third-lowest spread among all teams (2:35.1).
