Winchester, Va. - Maya Herndon led the way for RC as the Maroons finished third overall at the SU Twilight Open.

Notes and Notables  

• Roanoke took five of the top 15 spots to combine for the third-best score of 53 points.  

• All seven racers finished in the top 25 spots.  

• Sophomore Maya Herndon led the way for the Maroons, taking 6th with a 20:08.2 time, finishing only four seconds ahead of RC's second-best finisher, Sofia Conrey.  

• Riley Larimer, Brooke Eichelberger, and Sadie Teer rounded out the scoring for the Roanoke. Larimer finished 11th at 20:36.7, Eichelberger placed 12th with a 21:13.2, and Teer finished 18th at 22:08.3.  

• Lucy Whitenack (19th, 22:09.2) and Lauren Murray (25th, 22:56.8) were RC's other two racers to finish in the top 25.  

• Roanoke had the second-lowest spread among all teams (2:00.1).
