FOREST, Va. – Roanoke College's Rose Sande and Madison Nereu were named to the All-Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) women's basketball team Wednesday, voted on by the league's coaches.

Sande, a graduate student from Raleigh, N.C. earned second-team accolades for the second-straight year. She surpassed 1,000 points for her career last week against Hollins University and averages 12.1 points and five rebounds a game.  

Nereu, a sophomore forward from Cary, N.C. was named to the All-ODAC third team. She averages 11.0 points and 7.6 rebounds a game and also has 89 assists and 43 steals.

Sande ranks 11^th in the conference in scoring, 12^th in shooting percentage and 15^th in three-point field goals made. Nereu is third in assists and assist-to-turnover ratio, seventh in rebounding, 14^th in steals and 16^th in scoring.

The Maroons enter the 2024 ODAC Tournament as the No. 6 seed and square off with Randolph-Macon College Friday at 8 p.m. at the Salem Civic Center.
