SALEM, Va. - The Roanoke College women's basketball team were taken down by Lynchburg in ODAC play on Wednesday night.

How It Happened 

• Lynchburg gained the advantage in the first half and while the Maroons were solid defensively in the second half, they couldn't quite get it going offensively to make up the deficit. 

Notes and Notables 

• Moriah Tate led RC in scoring with nine points. 

• She was followed up by Alicea Farmer and Ingrid Moraes who each had eight points. 

• Farmer and Mariah Cain were tied for the team lead in rebounds with six boards a piece. Abigail RIce was the next closest with four. 

• Nadia Snesarev grabbed a team high three steals. Farmer, Cain, and Tate were right behind with a pair each. 

• Snesarev also led in assists with three.
