(Salem, Va. and Lincoln, Neb. – July 2026) – Roanoke College Athletics has announced a new partnership with Opendorse, the platform trusted by more than 180,000 athletes to build and grow their personal brands. Through this agreement, Roanoke student-athletes will gain access to a comprehensive suite of tools, resources, and educational programs designed to help them develop their personal brands.
Through the partnership, Roanoke student-athletes will have access to on-demand education covering personal finance, brand development, contracts, and more, as well as a custom-branded marketplace where fans and local businesses can connect directly with Maroon athletes.
The Athletic Department will also benefit from compliance and disclosure tools, centralized performance insights and dedicated account support, giving administrators the visibility and guidance to manage the department with confidence.
"Opendorse will be a valuable resource for our student-athletes. The platform helps them build their personal brands, connect with businesses, develop financial literacy, and prepare for future careers while ensuring compliance and transparency," said Roanoke College Athletic Director Curtis Campbell.
Roanoke competes in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC), one of the most competitive Division III conferences in the country. By investing in a full-platform partnership with Opendorse, the college is positioning its student-athletes with the same caliber of resources available at other leading programs across the country. From building a social media presence to learning lifelong skills, Maroon athletes will have a structured, supported path to make the most of their time at Roanoke.
"Roanoke College is making a meaningful investment in its student-athletes by giving them a full set of tools to develop their brands and grow their presence," said Jake Daugherty, director of collegiate partnerships at Opendorse. "From education to content to compliance, Maroons will have everything they need to make the most of this moment in college athletics."
Fans and community members can visit the Roanoke College Maroons Marketplace on Opendorse to connect directly with student-athletes for a variety of engagement opportunities. With this partnership in place, Roanoke joins a growing national network of Division III institutions choosing to invest in the long-term development of their student-athletes.
