Salem, Va.- Head strength and conditioning coach Scott Bennett announced Wednesday afternoon the addition of Dawson Klebe to the Maroons staff as the assistant strength and conditioning coach.
"We are excited to have Dawson join our Roanoke family," said Coach Bennett. "As we continue to grow our strength and conditioning program, his influence will help enhance our student athlete experience and help them achieve their personal and team goals."
Klebe comes to Roanoke from Midland University in Fremont, Neb., where he served as a graduate assistant strength and conditioning coach. With the Warriors, Klebe led year-round programs for five teams while assisting all 33 varsity sports. Prior to Midland, he spent four years at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln as a strength coach and performance nutrition kitchen assistant.
"I want to thank Coach Bennett for giving me the opportunity to help support him and the vast array of sports Roanoke College provides," said Klebe. "I believe that my past experience has prepared me for this role, and I'm very excited to contribute to the culture and success of Roanoke College."
Klebe received his master's degree in sports administration and leadership from Midland University and his bachelor's degree in nutrition, exercise, and health sciences from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
