FOREST, Va. - Roanoke College placed a record 296 student-athletes on the 2025-26 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) All-Academic Team as announced by the conference on Friday morning. 

Eligibility for the ODAC All-Academic Team is open to any student-athlete that competes in a conference-sponsored sport, regardless of academic class. A student-athlete must achieve at least a 3.25 grade point average for the 2025-26 academic year to be considered for an ODAC All-Academic award. 

RC surpassed their previous record of 290 student-athletes on the team which was set in the 2023-24 academic year. Roanoke ranked fifth amongst ODAC schools in student-athletes on the All-Academic Team. The is the fourth straight year RC has had over 200 Maroons earn the honor. 

Softball led all Roanoke teams in honorees with 29 while baseball was close behind at 25. Men's track & field, women's lacrosse, women's soccer, football, and wrestling all surpassed the 20+ honoree mark as well.
