SALEM, Va. – The Roanoke College athletic department announced Thursday the hiring of Kayleigh Kimball as the Assistant Athletic Communications Director.
"I am excited for the opportunity to join the Roanoke College athletic department and share the stories and accomplishments of all the student-athletes and teams at RC," said Kimball. "Thank you to Mike Carpenter for this opportunity to further my career in the athletic communications field."

Kimball earned her master's degree from Lakeland University (Wis.) this spring and served as the Sports Information Graduate Assistant since Dec. of 2024 at the Division III school. She also earned her undergraduate degree from Lakeland, assisting the athletic department in various roles.

She also was a sports management intern with the Sheboygan A's baseball team for the 2024 season.

"Kayleigh came highly recommended and impressed the hiring committee with both her experience and professionalism," said RC's Director of Athletic Communications, Mike Carpenter. "Her abilities and work ethic will help each of our 29 varsity teams and the College."
