The Short Story:
The Roanoke College men's lacrosse team hit the road Saturday to take on Randolph-Macon College in a late-season Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) match with tournament seeding on the line. Six Maroons scored as Roanoke pulled out a tight 11-7 victory.
 
How It Happened:
The Maroons slowly built up their lead, outscoring the Yellow Jackets in each of the first three quarters, including a 5-0 run between the first and second periods to take a 5-1 lead. Despite a hotly contested fourth quarter, the Maroons held on and emerged victorious.

• Patrick Cullen netted three goals on the day, leading the Maroons.
• Tyler Schmelzer racked up two goals and a helper on the day.
• Julian Kammerman also notched two goals and an assist.
• Brayden Phillips scored twice for the Maroons.
• Alex Feuer and Noah Bell both tallied a goal to round out the scoring effort.
• Ike Dutton forced five turnovers and Feuer and Weston Hammond each caused three.
• Dutton scooped four groundballs and Blake Rieger snared three.
• Alex Feuer earned the win in the net for the Maroons, making 13 saves.
