The Short Story:
The Roanoke College men's lacrosse team earned a convincing 24-1 win Saturday over Randolph College, with 17 different Maroons taking part in the scoring in Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) action.
How It Happened:
Roanoke started fast and early, and kept up the pressure until the end. Entering the fourth, the Maroons led 22-0, and capped a one-sided win in the fourth.
Inside The Numbers:
- Dell Vidunas and Julian Kammerman both scored three times on the day, with Kammerman also logging two assists.
- Evan Friend, Noah Bell, and Christian Friedl each netted two goals.
- Jackson Kreter, Griffin Dabbs, Colin Lasch, Connor Lockwood, Owen Ameo, Anthony Muniz, TJ Harris, Noah Elazar, Jack Savoie, Michael Ormond, Patrick Cullen, and Charlie Ryan all got in on the scoring with one goal apiece.
- Ryan also led the team in assists with three and Brayden Phillips had two helpers.
- TJ Harris was a perfect 15-of-15 in the face-off circle and scooped 10 ground balls and Justin Marengo was 12-of-14.
- The Wildcats only got off three shots on goal on the day, with Chris Schwartz recording saves on two of them for the Maroons.
- Cooper Callan scored the lone goal for the Wildcats (3-11/1-6)
