MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – Roanoke College sophomores Javier Waldron and Charlie Davis were honored Wednesday with the release of the D3football.com All-Region 3 team.

Both Waldron and Davis earned first-team All-Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) accolades at the end of November and each also took home ODAC Defensive Player of the week honors once during the season.

Waldron was named to the all-region second team after leading the ODAC with six interceptions and ranking fourth in the nation with 0.67 a game. The defensive back made 35 tackles, 23 solo, and broke up four passes.

Davis, a third-team all-region selection, led the team and was fourth in the conference with 11.3 tackles per game. The linebacker was third in the ODAC with 56 solo stops and added 7.5 tackles for loss, two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries.

The Maroons finished the season 5-4 overall and 4-4 in conference play.

Region 3 includes the American Southwest Conference, the Old Dominion Athletic Conference, the Southern Athletic Association, the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference and the USA South Athletic Conference.

The teams, selected in balloting by Region 3 sports information directors and D3football.com staff, were chosen from 200 nominations by full Division III member schools. A total of 78 players were chosen. Players nominated for All-Region are eligible to be considered for D3football.com All-America honors, which will be announced Monday, Dec. 22, 2025.
