LYNCHBURG, Va. – Due to a stadium scheduling conflict, the Roanoke College football team's first game of the 2026 season has been moved up two days. The Maroons' road contest at the Virginia University of Lynchburg (VUL) originally slated for Saturday, Sept. 5 is now set for Thursday evening, Sept. 3 at 6 p.m. at Lynchburg's City Stadium. The program will play a Thursday night game for the first time in history since the team returned to varsity status in 2025.
