SALEM, Va. - The Roanoke College men's cross country team took fifth overall while Nathaniel Orban paced the squad with his 10th place finish at the Roanoke XC Invitational 2025 South Region Showdown.

Notes and Notables 

• Nathaniel Orban paced the squad and the ODAC as he finished 10th with a time of 25:07.6. He was also the second placed DIII finisher, second to only Ashton Deriso from Oglethorpe. 

• Orban's time was over 20 seconds faster than his previous best, which he set at the Paul Short Run. With his time, Orban also moved up to fourth in the RC record books. 

• Shane Stevens was the runner up for the Maroons as he placed 34th with a time of 26:16.3. 

• Parker Blosser ran 26:31.8 to finish 44th to finish third for RC. 

• Gabe Ramirez and Ian Fellows placed closely together at 52nd and 54th with times of 26:50.8 and 26:52.8 respectively. 

• Beau Brebner and Aaron Massey rounded out the top seven in 57th and 67th places. Brebner ran 26:55.0 and Massey ran 27:12.3.  

• The men's side had an average time of 26:19.

This meet was the last regular season meet for the Maroons. They take on the ODAC Championships in two weeks (Nov. 1) which are being hosted by Bridgewater College.
