SALEM, Va. – The Roanoke College men's and women's track & field teams have announced their 2024-25 schedules for both the indoor and outdoor seasons.
The indoor slate, which opens with the Liberty Kickoff on Dec. 5-6, features three home regular-season events: the
Finn Pincus Invitational on Jan. 17-18, the Bast-Cregger Invitational on Jan. 31-Feb. 1 and the Joe LaRocco Invitational on Feb. 15. The Maroons will also play host to the Old Dominion Athletic Conference Indoor Championships at Cregger Field House on March 1-2.
Roanoke will begin outdoor competition with the Washington and Lee Carnival on March 21-22. Eastern Mennonite University will be the site for the ODAC Outdoor Championships, which are slated for April 25-26 in Harrisonburg.
Across both indoor and outdoor seasons, the Maroons will compete in six events hosted by Division I institutions, including the addition of NC State University's Raleigh Relays on March 28-29.
"I like our mix of meets – between the D3 meets where the majority of our team can compete, and then the D1 meets that will give the top half of our roster some competition at a little bit higher of a level," head coach
Derek Workman said. "Outdoor season is shorter this year, so it will be imperative to take advantage of the good weather in a shortened season."
Workman added that the Maroons are also looking forward to both conference championship events. "We are excited to host the indoor ODAC championships again, and excited to see the brand-new outdoor facility at EMU," he said.
