FOREST, Va. – The Roanoke College women's soccer team was picked to finish sixth in the 2026 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) pre-season poll, released Wednesday.

The poll is voted on by the league's coaches.

The Maroons finished the 2025 season 6-4 in conference play to finish sixth in the regular season.

Washington & Lee University ranked first in the poll with 12 of the 13 first-place votes, with second-place Batten University (formerly Virginia Wesleyan) receiving the other first-place vote.

Bridgewater College, the University of Lynchburg and Shenandoah University took third, fourth and fifth respectively, followed by the Maroons in the 13-team conference.

RC opens play in 2026 season Sept. 4-5 at home in Kerr Stadium. The Maroons host the four-team Roanoke Invitational with Maryville, Lynchburg and Hope all competing.
