Lauren Fisher scored a game-tying goal late for the second-straight match as the Roanoke women's soccer team tied Hope College 1-1 Saturday in the Roanoke Invitational.
Fisher struck in the 85
th minute Friday evening as RC tied Maryville College 1-1.

*Avery Plummer scored from Bri Rose midway through the first half and the Flying Dutch took the 1-0 lead into intermission.
*With the Maroons applying pressure, the Hope keeper tied to clear the ball from inside the box. Fisher blocked the pass and deflected it into the back of the net at the 75:24 mark.
