SALEM, Va. - Head Roanoke College cycling coach, Shelley Olds, released the squad's mountain bike schedule, which will kick off their 2026-27 slate. 

"We have some great additions to the team this year, and our current members are returning in top form," said Coach Olds. "It's going to be a fun start to the season, and I am sure we will celebrate lots of success as we continue to grow into one of the premiere collegiate cycling destinations in the country." 

The Maroons will open their season with two big weekends of local racing, beginning with Virginia Tech on September 5-6 followed by their home race at Explore Park on September 13. They will then make their way to Lees-McRae College for an SEC and ACC Dual Conference Event before the Dual Conference Championships in North Carolina, September 26-27.
