FOREST, Va. - Senior libero CJ Kingston of the Roanoke College men's volleyball team earned ODAC Defensive Player of the Week as announced by the league on Monday afternoon.
Kingston set a new program record for single game digs with 24 against Eastern Mennonite on Wednesday. In doing so, the South Carolina native tied the ODAC record in digs for a three-set match and tied for the most digs in a three-set match in Division III this year. Kingston also added 21 digs between RC's two victories on Saturday.
This is Kingston's first weekly honor of his career.
Kingston and the Maroons are set to take on the ODAC semifinals on Thursday (Apr. 9). They will square-off with the winner of Tuesday's Eastern Mennonite/Lynchburg quarterfinal.
