FOREST, Va. - Five seniors of the Roanoke College men's volleyball were selected to the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) All-Conference teams as announced by the league on Saturday afternoon.
This is the second straight season that RC has had five All-ODAC selections.
Michael Cummins and Jackson Rutkowski were named to the First Team while Colin Mendoza, Pierce Faulcon, and CJ Kingston earned Second Team honors.
Cummins becomes a two-time First Team All-ODAC selection with the accolade this year. He was third in the ODAC this season in service aces (30) and seventh in kills per set (2.78). Cummins ended with 225 kills, 122 digs, 30 service aces, and 19 blocks over 81 sets. He also ends his RC career as the program leader in kills with 941 and service aces with 120, becoming the first Maroon to surpass the 900 kill and 100 service ace milestones.
Rutkowski adds his first team accolades to last year's second team honors. The Maryland product led Roanoke in kills (247) and kills per set (3.05), putting him at seventh in total kills and fourth in kills per set in the conference. Rutkowski also added 171 digs, 20 blocks, 22 assists, and 16 service aces on the season. He ends his career second in the program records in kills (912) and service aces (73) as well as third in digs (485) and fourth in blocks (117). Rutkowski was also named to the 2026 All-ODAC Tournament team.
Mendoza rounds out the now two-time all-conference honorees of the group after earning first team accolades last season. The 2025 ODAC Defensive Player of the Year paced RC in blocks with 62 and was fourth in the league in blocks per set at 0.95. Mendoza was also effective on the offensive side of the ball, posting 117 kills and a .395 hitting percentage over 65 sets. He ranked second in the ODAC in hitting percentage this season. Mendoza finishes his career as the program leader in blocks (273) while landing third in service aces (67) and fourth in kills (450).
After earning All-ODAC Tournament team laurels last season, Faulcon carried the momentum into this year and had himself a career season. The right side posted 225 kills to tie with Cummins for second on the squad and was tied for third in blocks with 47. Faulcon ends his time in Salem ranked third in program history in career kills (607) and total blocks (140).
CJ Kingston rounds out Roanoke's honorees after a standout season at the libero position. Kingston was fifth in the nation and first in the ODAC this season in digs per set at 3.40. His dig total of 329 was nearly 100 more than the second ranked player in the conference. Kingston also took home ODAC Defensive Player of the Week during the last week of the regular season after setting the program's single game record and tying the ODAC three set record for digs with 24 against Eastern Mennonite. He finishes off his four years at Roanoke ranked second in digs (729) and fourth in service aces (65).
