SALEM, Va. - The Roanoke College men's volleyball team rounded out their regular season home slate with a 3-0 sweep of Eastern Mennonite.

How It Happened 

• The Maroons dominated the first set and didn't allow Eastern Mennonite to gain any momentum as they took it 25-8. 

• The second set was a different story as the sides exchanged points. RC gained fthe edge late in the set and went on to take it 27-25. 

• EMU started the third set strong, but Roanoke used a seven-point run in the middle of the set to take the lead and shift the tides. RC then finished off the job with a 25-19 set victory. 

Notes and Notables 

• Michael Cummins was the only Maroons to hit double digit kills as he posted 14. 

• Johnny Moran dished out 17 assists while Teagan Cole was right behind with 16. 

• Andre Gates and Pierce Faulcon led in blocks with four each. Colin Mendoza was right behind the duo with threee. 

• CJ Kingston posted a new career high in digs with 24 in the match. 

• Jackson Rutkowski also broke double figures in digs with 14.

Roanoke finishes out the regular season on Saturday (Apr. 4) with a trip to Averett for an ODAC tri-match with the hosts and Shenandoah. The squad is slated to play at 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm.
