NEW ORLEANS – The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) has revealed its 2026 NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field All-Region honorees, and Roanoke picked up a total of 26 citations across the men's and women's lists.
The men's team amassed 17 All-South Region citations for 11 different athletes across eight events. Meanwhile, the women's squad totaled nine all-region awards, which featured six competitors in four events.
The men's honors included
Lorenzo Camobreco and
Max Cardwell in the 400m,
Elias Ammon in the 800m,
Nathaniel Orban in the 3,000m,
Daniel Graham and
Mitchell Taylor in the 60m hurdles,
Cody Roupe and
T.K. Toney in the high jump and
DeShawn Austin in the long jump.
Additionally, the Maroons secured all-region designations for the 4x400 relay quartet of Ammon, Cardwell, Camobreco and
Brandon Heffinger, as well as the distance medley relay team of Ammon, Heffinger, Orban and
Ian Fellows.
For the women,
Lindsey Hobin picked up individual all-region accolades in both the 200m and the 400m.
Rebecca Carr,
Ophelia Ladner and
Olivia Viers were all recognized in the 60m hurdles, and the 4x400 relay team of Hobin, Ladner,
Mae Kaufman and
Maryrose Molina-Shuman rounded out the honors.
The top eight individuals in each event from each region on the year-end Descending Order Lists all earn All-Region distinction, in addition to each member of the region's top eight relay teams.
Ammon has qualified for the 800m at the NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships in Birmingham, Ala. this weekend. He is slated to compete in the first round of the event on Friday evening.
