FOREST, Va. - Senior sprinter Lindsey Hobin of the Roanoke College women's track and field team took home ODAC Track Athlete of the Week honors as announced by the league on Tuesday afternoon.
Hobin picked up three event wins at the Bast-Cregger Invitational. She recorded a personal best of 58.72 seconds in the 400m which puts her atop the ODAC. She also logged a time of 25.61 seconds in the 200m to tie the fastest time in the conference this season. The Rhode Island product also ran the anchor leg of the 4x400 relay, which clocked an ODAC-leading time of 4:01.53. All three of Hobin's performances rank in the top five regionally and top 40 nationally.
Hobin and the track and field squad are back in action this weekend (Feb. 6-7) when they travel to North Carolina for Camel City.
