Notes and Notables
- Amari Carter won the 200m with a time of 22.51 seconds. Max Cardwell (22.88 seconds) and Sam Linebaugh (23.07) set personal-bests to finish second and fourth, respectively.
- Lorenzo Camobreco and Cardwell claimed the top two spots in the 400m, crossing the tape in 49.44 and 49.71 seconds. Cardwell's PR time allowed him to join Camobreco in the school's all-time Top 10. Brandon Heffinger (52.38) and Mitchell Taylor (52.39) finished back-to-back in eighth and ninth place.
- The Maroons secured a victory in the 4x400 relay, with Cardwell, Heffinger, Camobreco and Bryson Hill logging a mark of 3:25.58. Roanoke's other relay quartet of Jayden Coleman, Adrian Shiguango Holtz, Jeremy Mace and Thomas Dobb finished fifth in 3:39.08.
- Nathaniel Orban's personal-record time of 4:19.57 landed him in second place in the mile. That mark ranks third in Roanoke history and puts him among the leaders in the NCAA South Region.
- Taylor was the runner-up in the 60m hurdles, finishing in 8.41 seconds. Daniel Graham came in sixth in 8.78, followed by Davis Neel in seventh at 9.03.
- In the 3,000m, Ian Fellows placed second with a season-best run of 8:52.94. Parker Blosser finished seventh overall at 8:59.52.
- Elias Ammon finished second in the 800m with a time of 1:57.29.
- Dominic McCombs broke his own school record in the pole vault, finishing third overall with a height of 4.35m.
- Cody Roupe's mark of 1.99m in the high jump put him in third place at the event. It also ranks third all-time in program annals and just outside the Top 30 in Division III this winter.
- Carter came in third in the 60m with a time of 6.95 seconds. He delivered a season-best mark of 6.90 in the preliminary rounds.
- Amir Spencer set a personal record with a distance of 6.69m in the long jump, finishing in third place.
- Gabe Ramirez (15:47.68) and Sam Brasler (15:49.96) established new personal-bests in the 5,000m to place fifth and seventh. Blosser came in ninth at 16:06.04.
- Kyle Stephens logged a toss of 13.60m to place fifth in the shot put.
- In the triple jump, Colby Thompson (12.68m), Jonah Hamman (12.68m) and David Gipson (12.58m) claimed the eighth, ninth and 10th spots.
- The Maroons honored the Class of 2026 (pictured above)Â with a Senior Day ceremony over the weekend.
Up Next: Roanoke will take part in the Camel City event at the JDL Fast Track in Winston-Salem, N.C. next Friday and Saturday.
