SALEM, Va. - The Roanoke College baseball team makes their way up I-81 this weekend for Opening Weekend of the ODAC playoffs as they face-off with Shenandoah.

The Matchup 

• This will be the second time in the past two weeks that these sides have faced off with each other. 

• Shenandoah took the regular season series, 12-4 and 10-9. 

• Roanoke took down the Hornets in the second round of the ODAC Tournament last year with 11-10 and 9-5 victories. 

The Tournament 

• Should the sides split Friday's doubleheader they will play again on Sunday in Winchester at 1:00 pm. 

• The winner of the best of three series will advance to Championship Weekend (May 8-10) at Capital One Park in Tysons, Va. 

Notes and Notables 

• Kyle Moshier currently leads the team in hits with 53 while Parker Stallard tops the squad in slugging percentage at .561. 

• Stallard is also a threat on the base paths, swiping 22 bases to lead the ODAC. He is also eighth in the league in walks with 27. 

• Moshier, Stallard, Nate Prince, Tyler Galloway, Hayden Giordano, and Danny Ferguson are all hitting over .300 this season for the Maroons. 

• Liam Murphy is seventh in the conference in home runs with eight on the year. 

• Last time out RC had seven extra base hits between the pair of games against Shenandoah, including four home runs. 

• On the pitching side, Isaac Brooks enters the weekend tenth in hits allowed while Trevor Orth sits at tenth in wins (5) in the ODAC.
