The Lead: The Roanoke women's track & field team claimed a pair of event victories and totaled 12 finishes inside the Top 5 at Randolph College's WildCat Invitational.
Meet Highlights:
- The 4x100 relay team of Nalonda Henderson, Eleanor Hinckley, Mae Kaufman and Lindsey Hobin won its race with a season-best mark of 47.48 seconds. Their time leads the ODAC and ranks 25th in Division III this spring.
- Olivia Viers took first in the 100m hurdles with a time of 15.03 seconds. Rebecca Carr (15.82) placed third, while McKenna Riolo (18.18) landed in ninth.
- Claudia Disbrow was the runner-up in the javelin, notching a season-best mark of 34.16m. That distance ranks third in the conference and 10th in the South Region.
- Tasha Miller tied her season-best performance in the pole vault, placing third at 3.20m.
- Two Maroons set personal records in the 400m. Maryrose Molina-Shuman came in fourth at 58.63 seconds, followed closely by Kaufman in fifth at 58.69. Their times also rank fourth and fifth in the ODAC.
- In the 400m hurdles, Cammi Winston came in fourth at 1:10.88, and Riolo claimed sixth place at 1:12.42.
- Allie Gallaher finished fourth in the 3,000m steeplechase, logging a time of 12:59.80. Elizabeth McElfresh landed in sixth at 15:03.10.
- Sarah Fuchs set a season-best mark in the shot put, placing fourth at 10.85m. Abby McGlothlin secured the seventh spot with a mark of 10.31m.
- Fuchs also notched a fourth-place showing in the hammer throw at 41.46m. Bri Marando produced a personal-best mark, placing eighth at 37.16m.
- Four Maroons finished in the Top 10 in the discus: Henderson was fifth at 34.36m, followed by Disbrow (33.92m) in sixth, McGlothlin (31.25m) in ninth and Marando (29.86m) in 10th.
- Winston came in seventh in the triple jump at 10.46m.
- Evie Magee (2:26.76) and Gallaher (2:26.98) placed seventh and eighth in the 800m.
- Viers recorded an eighth-place performance in the long jump, landing at 4.88m.
- Kenna Fox finished ninth in the 200m with a time of 26.79 seconds.
