Lindsey Hobin clocked the fastest time in the prelims of two events on the opening day of the conference championship meet.

Notes and Notables
- Fuchs' mark of 45.97m in the hammer throw landed her in second place, as the senior secured All-ODAC honors in the event for the second straight year.
- Claudia Disbrow placed third overall in the javelin and also claimed an all-conference citation with a personal-record distance of 38.63m.
- Elizabeth McElfresh scored for the Maroons in the 3,000m steeplechase, placing eighth overall with a personal-best time of 14:12.94.
- Hobin clocked the fastest time in the preliminary rounds of the 200m, coming in with a season-best performance of 24.68 seconds.
- Hobin also placed first in the prelims of the 400m with a season-best time of 56.28 seconds. Maryrose Molina-Shuman joined her in advancing to Saturday's finals, placing eighth in the prelims with a season-best mark of 1:00.38.
- Nalonda Henderson came in second in the prelims of the 100m, registering a season-best time of 12.26 seconds to move on to the finals.
- Three Maroons advanced in the 100m hurdles. Rebecca Carr's season-best time of 15.09 seconds was good for third place in the prelims, followed by Ophelia Ladner (15.42) in fourth and Olivia Viers (16.72) in eighth.
- With seven out of 20 events scored, Roanoke sits in sixth place in the team standings with 15 points. Washington and Lee leads the table with 93 points.
