Event: Dennis Craddock Coaches Classic

The Lead: The Roanoke women's track & field secured a pair of event victories as part of a strong overall team performance at the Dennis Craddock Coaches Classic.
Highlights:
- One week after setting the school record in the 400m hurdles at High Point University's VertKlasse Meeting, Ophelia Ladner turned in a winning performance in the event with a time of 1:03.84. Lindsey Hobin (1:06.98) came in third, while McKenna Riolo (1:16.65) finished 12th.
- Roanoke's 4x100 relay team of Hobin, Nalonda Henderson, Eleanor Hinckley and Mae Kaufman also crossed the tape first with a time of 47.71 seconds.
- Four Maroons landed in the top 10 in the 100m hurdles, led by Olivia Viers' runner-up finish with a season-best time of 14.98 seconds. Cammi Winston set a personal record with a time of 15.12 seconds to claim third, while Rebecca Carr (15.28) placed fourth and Riolo (18.24) took 10th.
- Savannah Reid came in third in the 3,000m steeplechase (12:22.57).
- Henderson finished fourth overall in the 100m with a time of 12.41 seconds. She ran a season-best mark of 12.36 in the prelims.
- Tasha Miller set an outdoor personal record with a height of 3.20m in the pole vault, placing fourth overall.
- All five entrants in the 5,000m ran personal-best times, highlighted by Reid (19:41.12) in sixth and Sarah Kochanski (20:14.15) in 14th position.
- Maryrose Molina-Shuman placed seventh in the 400m at 59.43 seconds.
- Viers landed at 4.96m to secure the eighth-place spot in the long jump.
- Winston's distance of 10.27m was good for 10th in the triple jump.
- Hinckley clocked in at 26.20 seconds to finish 11th in the 200m.
- In the high jump, Carr came in 13th at 1.35m.
- The Maroons also logged three PR times in the 800m, led by Nadira Cantey's 21st-place finish in 2:25.01.
